On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, marking the final day of His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s official visit to the United Kingdom, the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in America hosted a farewell dinner in his honor at the historic Cavalry and Guards Club in London.

The event was organized by Pavlos De Grèce, a member of the club—a privilege granted due to his service as a Commandant in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. The dinner commenced with remarks by Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, National Commander of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, followed by a brief greeting from Pavlos De Grèce, who highlighted the remarkable global mission of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Among those in attendance were prominent ecclesiastical leaders, including His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel Geron of Chalcedon, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, and His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean Islands.

The event was a highlight of His Holiness, the Patriarch’s visit, emphasizing the strong bonds between the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Orthodox diaspora, and the international community.
