On Monday, June 2, the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis inaugurated the renovated Bone Marrow Transplant Unit of Evangelismos General Hospital in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Marios Themistocleous; the Deputy Director of Evangelismos General Hospital, Mr. Veniamin Batis; the Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Mr. Ioannis Baltadakis; and members of the Board of Directors of Aurora.

The refurbishment of the Day Care Room and the waiting area of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit was realised by Aurora with donations made to the De Grèce family in memory of their father, Constantine II.

The De Grèce family was represented by Pavlos, Nikolaos and Theodora who accompanied their mother, HM Queen Anne-Marie at the ceremony.

In his address, Pavlos De Grèce thanked the Aurora Association, its Honorary Chairman, Mrs. Kaiti David, its Chairman, Mr. Clemente Pinedo, and their entire team, through whom the renovation was made possible, stating that: "I hope that the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit will support the tremendous efforts of our doctors to stand strongly by the side of the patients.".
